CANEUS 2006, 8/27 - 9/1/2006

CANEUS 2006 Conference and Workshop on Micro-Nano-Technologies for Aerospace Applications

August 27 - September 1, 2006
Toulouse, France

The CANEUS Organization, the Centre National de Recherche Technologique Aéronautique et Espace (CNRT), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in partnership with the NASA, US and French DoD, EADS-France and the Centre for Large Space Structures and Systems (CLS3) in Canada, are hosting CANEUS 2006 to provide a venue for participants from around the world, including researchers, systems integrators, funding agencies, and aerospace systems buyers, to address how to collaboratively and efficiently transition micro-nano-technologies from low technology readiness levels to end-user aerospace systems. Attending CANEUS 2006 would also help facilitate potential involvement of your organization in aerospace MNT pilot projects.

GETI will serve as the Principal Supporting organization in Japan for CANEUS 2006.

We encourage you to submit abstracts of your paper that describe novel MNT-based concepts for devices and systems, challenges with MNT-based system development, MNT infusion into missions, perspectives on government and private investment into MNT development, as well as end-user perspectives. In addition, papers dealing with lessons learned in transitioning new technologies to applications are highly sought after and encouraged. Technical paper abstract submissions will be accepted electronically through conference Web sites: www.caneus.org and www.asmeconferences.org/CANEUS06. Abstracts should be no longer than 2000 words.
