The Industrial Materials Institute of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), and the Nano-Imprint Lithography Consortium (NILCom)will host a two day workshop on Alternative Micro and Nanofabrication technologies and their use in biomedical applications.

The workshop is aimed at the scientific and technical community in Canada and will address the challenges of alternative nanofabrication technologies and the expected benefits in several fields in the life sciences including biology, biosensors and drug discovery areas. The workshop will also prove beneficial to industry and commercialization leaders interested in gaining knowledge of the potential of the technology in the health science sector.

GETI Managing Director Louis Ross is an invited speaker and will discuss emerging technology developments from a global perspective relating to the life science area with an emphasis on drug delivery and medical device technologies.
